Directions to Jock Sabie Lodge
Jock Sabie Lodge is located in the small town of Sabie in the Mpumalanga province. The area is dense with vegetation and geological formations. Close by is the Kruger National Park where you can view the Big Five, and there are a number of dams in the area for boating and fishing.
From Johannesburg / Pretoria
Route 1
Follow the Witbank highway from Johannesburg to Belfast (N4). You pay a nominal fee at the tollgate at Middelburg. From Belfast (R540), turn to Dullstroom, then to Lyndenburg. From Lyndenburg, travel over the Long Tom Pass to Sabie (R37) to Sabie.
Route 2
From Pretoria, follow the Witbank highway (N40 to Belfast. You pay a tollgate fee outside Pretoria and at Middelburg. From Belfast (R540), turn to Dullstroom, then to Lyndenburg. From Lyndenburg, continue over the Long Tom Pass (R37) to Sabie.
Route 3
As per above, but from Belfast, continue to Nelspruit on the N4. You pay a tollgate fee before Nelspruit. From Nelspruit, turn to Sabie (R37). All routes are about 350 kilometres (217.5 miles) from Johannesburg or Pretoria.
From Sabie
From the R37 you enter town. You arrive at a stop sign just after the BP garage. Cross over until you reach a T-junction with the Standard Bank opposite and turn left. Drive for approximately 50 metres and turn left before the Engen Garage to Jock's reception office.
